After many camping trips in tents over the years, we decided to get something with a little more comfort. We looked at lots of different options, but the Pathfinder seemed to tick all of the boxes for us. We went to Accrington to view a unit. We spoke to Julie and Nick who were extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable about their product, they were very also very friendly. We took delivery of our unit in November 2016. Since then we have used it quite a lot for weekends away using the airporch, this is great for short stops, and for longer trips the large awning gives a great living area for the family to spread out. We have found that the unit is easy to set up, the living space is great, and having the beds permanently set up is fantatastic.
The Pathfinder is a great unit to live with, and we are sorry we didn't get one sooner. We can highly recommend this product.
The staff at Pennine were all fantastic, nothing too much trouble, polite and friendly. No being pushed into any purchases, everything just explained thoroughly. What a pleasure. Thank you.

I purchased my new Conway Countryman Folding Camper from Pennine Leisure in March 2017. The entire process from placing the order to taking delivery of my camper was seamless. The professionalism of the Pennine Leisure staff throughout made the entire process stress free.

When I collected my camper the salesman spent two hours showing me the process of erecting and packing way. Every aspect of the
electrical system, plumbing and hitching the camper to my car was explained in great detail and continued until I was entirely happy.

From collecting my camper in March until writing this review in May we have had four great short holidays in various locations across Southern England.

Because everything is already packed in the camper the whole experience of preparing to travel to campsites is greatly improved compared to the packing and preparation needed when we used our tent.

I must compliment Pennine Leisure for the quality of their after sales service. Unlike many companies Pennines Customer Service does not end once your money is in their bank account.

I have contacted Pennine Leisure on a few occasions since taking delivery and on each and every occasion their knowledgeable and courteous staff have always responded quickly to my requests for information or details of additional products available.

Pennines Folding Campers are built in Great Britain and both the product and the staff uphold the very best qualities that say "Made in Great Britain"

In conclusion, making a substantial purchase is never without risk but i have never had any reason to be concerned about my dealings with Pennine Leisure.

I highly recommend Pennine Leisure.

We felt we must write to say how impressed we are with our new (to us) Pennine folding camper. We are the third owners of this 2002 Apollo which we purchased second hand in April of this year to bring to keep at our French holiday home for trips around France.
We have just returned from a week in the Dordogne with some appalling weather but it kept us warm, dry and comfortable whatever the elements threw at us. We had two severe thunderstorms, hailstones, strong winds and heavy rain and the camper kept it all out. Fortunately we did also have some sun...
We are pensioners who have years of experience camping. We have a motorhome for use in the UK but decided to buy the camper because we wanted a more open air experience for our travels in France this summer and we are so pleased we felt we just had to write and let you know.

Collected out first ever Pennine Pathfinder last month after years of caravanning.
Firstly Julie and Paul have been fantastic in every way. Great handover of camper and couldn't be more helpful with silly queries and questions we have.
The camper is brilliant and has surpassed expectations.
Two very happy customers.

Last year the Gas Struts failed and tore our K/Size bed from its mountings. This damaged the side.
Pennine were very helpful in repairing our Folding Camper. Pullman 535
Thank you for getting us away on our next trip.

We are a couple in our late seventies who have camped for many, many years. Over this time we have graduated from small frame tents to larger units with our family and in more recent years to folding campers. Our most recent folding camper was a Pennine Sterling which gave us excellent service for over ten years. We had not planned to change it but when Julie showed us the Conway Countryman model this spring we were so impressed it didn't take us long to decide to purchase one.

On collection we were given a very thorough and comprehensive demonstration of the unit by Nick and we also received some very helpful tips from him.

We have recently returned from a lengthy trip on the continent. The basic unit is quick and easy to erect and when there are just the two of us it is fully adequate. The awning obviously requires a bit more effort and creates double the space when required. The fitted kitchen with its own hot water heater is a real bonus. The cabin is well fitted out and the built-in fan heater ensures a comfortable temperature - particularly appreciated on chilly mornings! We also find the acrylic fabric to be warmer and certainly quicker-drying after a downpour.

We so much appreciate the luxury touches that the Countryman provides and are confident that it will serve us well for many years.

We have nothing but praise for Nick and Julie and their staff at Pennine Outdoor Leisure. They produce folding campers of first class quality and really do go out of their way to give excellent service to their customers.

I have had our 209 Cruiser from new. I have bought the odd spare part from Pennine Outdoor and found them very helpful. As we are getting older and only the 2 of us the full awning and the bedroom extension is a bit much to assemble. We saw the new Air porch and ordered one. It arrived within 24 hours and took us less than 30 minutes to read the excellent instructions and have it fitted to the camper already out for our trip. Brilliant. We won't need the full awning much in years to come. Julie responded to my order quickly and the whole set up seems very professional. If we upgrade I will certainly call them despite the distance.

Where to start, we are seasoned campers who have progressed from a small tent through to trailer tents, these were great but took a lot of effort to put up hence not good for weekends away which results in little use.

Last year after much consideration we decided to sell the new trailer tent and buy a folding camper. Sadly we left it too late to buy a new one and finally found a two year old Conway Crusader. This was the best decision we have ever made the ease of use is second to none camping became fun again.

I then made a fatal mistake I looked through the brilliant online spares catalogue and decided to add a winter cover and a few other things I arranged to collect direct from the factory after making the purchase a very clever Julie gave e sneak preview of the 2016 Pathfinder and I was sold. Julie told me that the best price would be at the Manchester caravan show and I made sure that booked tickets for the show. After looking at the finished project and a brief chat with Julie we decided to think about the purchase while walking round. We only got to the end of the stand and turned back to purchase a brand new Pathfinder we were offered a very fair trade in price for our 2013 Crusader with the option to sell it private which we managed to do.

We collected our new Pathfinder in April with a comprehensive handover from Julie and Nick who are very passionate about the Pennine brand and quite rightly so. We also added the new air porch awning and a motor mover which for me is the best things since sliced bread the awning goes up like a dream and no pushing or pulling which makes a great product even better. Add to this a second to none after sales service put the product leagues above anything else we have seen. I had a small problem recently and made the trip back to Accrington and felt like one of the family

In the four outings in our Pathfinder it always manages to turn heads and raise curiosity and after the inevitable guided tour people are amazed at quality and style and in awe of how it all packs away so compactly.

My only advice is don't think for too long about buying one just do it, you wont look back but we rediscover your love for camping just like we have.

I would like to wish Julie and Nick and their very pleasant team a very healthy future.
